..I'm being watched!.....

I was sitting on my bed and realized that everything was really quiet in the house. So I started to look around the room, and sure enough, someone was staring at me through the tiniest crack between the wall and the big bookshelf! This was the culprit:

I was actually kind of creeped out at first, but then I thought it was pretty funny! How the heck did he find that crack anyway? This dog is so weird.

mmm...mmm...mmm!

Three words: I LOVE CHEESECAKE!

I had a craving for cheesecake the other day and I went to Foodland to go buy some of the Cheescake Factory original kind. Bad news...the lady told me that they don't sell it anymore!! Noooo! So I ended up settling for Sara Lee..which was a complete waste of time. I'm so bummed that the Cheesecake Factory is an hour away. Someone needs to teach me how to make some delicious cheesecake!!

Baloo's little/big brother! I hope...

As Baloo gets fatter and fatter, I'm beginning to realize that he really sucks at exercise! I took him for a walk down the block to the field behind the temple (which is like 2 blocks) and he was so tired I thought he was going to pass out right on the street. Sooooo....my hopes for a dog to play with and run with are pretty shot for now. I can't even get Baloo to walk down the street without having to carry his fat body all the way back because he's wheezing so hard! He's so funny. But I've already started looking for little brother for Baloo that we can get when we move to the mainland next year!
So what I really really really want....is a white german shepherd!

That dog can probably run 5 times as long and fast as I ever could! Since Seth picked out Baloo, I definitely get the next pick! The puppies are so cute too!

So he will actually be Baloo's little BIG brother. I know it won't be for over a year....but I can wish, right? :)

So it's been a while...

Alright, alright, I know it's been awhile since I have posted. Life is just so busy!! Well actually Seth has nothing to do that lucky duck! He graduates this June and we are really looking forward to that. I, however, have a million and three things to do! Along with organic chemistry, microbiology and physics homework and tests, there just isn't much extra time. And I just spend my extra time doing research for my biology senior project. I'd tell you all what I'm doing for my project, but it's complicated and I don't feel like boring everyone to death! So this is what we've been up to for the last month and a half or so...

We had the chance to fly out on superbowl weekend to Las Vegas with our friends Scott and Allison to go see Jerry Seinfeld LIVE!! Let me tell you it was amazing! He was hilarious! Seth and I just LOVE Seinfeld and this was really cool for us to go see. It was totally worth the long plane rides. I forgot to bring my glasses (how stupid!) so I really couldn't see him (I'm so blind!)! And they wouldn't let us bring in cameras. Lame. But we got a picture with the poster! haha.

For Valentine's day Seth and I went up to our usual sandwich place in Haleiwa (Stortos) and ate our incredibly delicious sandwiches on the beach and watched the gigantic swells that were coming in. Then we randomly decided to be tourists and go down to the Dole Plantation (I've actually never been there in the million times I've been to Hawai'i). We got their yummy pineapple ice cream, and ate it while we snuck into the giant maze and got lost. Then we decided to be even cooler tourists (yeah right!) and buy bright yellow dole shirts!! I totally forgot my camera that day, so I don't have any pictures. Bummer. But we looked hilarious. We got on the train that takes you out into the pineapple fields and we learned about pineapple and listened to ghetto songs called "Pineapple Princess!" It was great. We finished the day by going to see "Definitely, Maybe" and then grabbing dinner on the way home. It was such a fun day! It's nice to have such a fun and sweet valentine.

Other than that, we've just been hanging out with friends and playing rock band with Nate and Camille! haha. Seth is planning to take the GRE this summer and applying for graduate school this fall. I bumped up my graduation to next June and am applying to Veterinary school next fall. Other than that, we look forward to going to the Phillipines this summer for a BYUH research project, and leave for 2 months on June 23rd. I'm hoping for some great shopping! :) We're moving to Hau'ula this June to a new place because our crazy landlord forgot to ask us if we wanted to renew our contract and sold it to some other lady. We were pretty upset at first, but now we're happy to get away from this crazy bug house! We are also scheduled to go on our second skydiving trip for Seth's 24th birthday this May. We're trying to get all of our friends to come too! So anyway, life is great! And Fatty is doing well too. :)

Christmas in San Diego

For the holidays we took off to the wonderful place of San Diego! Both of our families live there so we were able to spend lots of time with both of them. It was tons of fun, besides the fact that I almost froze to death! --but Seth was there to keep me warm. One of my favorite parts was seeing my doxies back home. I swear every time I see Hammy I'm afraid its the last...but he seems to be as perky and healthy as ever, regardless how incredibly old he is!

When we first got home, we ritually we went to Disneyland (of course!)

We had a lot of fun! For some unknown reason, there were no lines ANYWHERE and we walked on everything! Seth says that he doesn't think he can ever go back to a crowded Disneyland

We went on every ride like 3 times or more! I also really loved how the castle was decorated.

A few days laters, we spent Christmas morning at my family's house, and then the afternoon and evening dinner at Seth's house/grandparent's house. It was a lot of fun! I was really happy that I got to play with all of my cute nieces and nephews and all of their new Christmas presents. They are the most adorable little kids ever. I was also really happy to see all of our family that we haven't seen in a while!

After Christmas, we made a last minute decision to go to Vegas for our 1-year anniversary! Our first year of marraige was awesome, and what better way to top it off than to go on a crazy trip to Vegas!?! It was a BLAST! We got to go to the sweet outlet malls on the way up and found a bunch of cool stuff. We made it past the horrific new years traffic to our hotel (the Monte Carlo) which was really nice!

Seth was a sweetheart and took me out to dinner and gave me a beautiful necklace and matching pair of earrings. I love him! We ate dinner at ESPN zone, which is one of my favorite places to eat--you get to watch a game on the TV at your table, and then on the huge screen on the wall---and then eat food at the same time!!!!! haha.
I loved walking around vegas and seeing all of the cool hotels and shops. It was such an adventure!

The pretty Paris hotel..

Inside the Bellagio...

Outside by the fountain..

at night when it was going off..

One of my favorite places was M&M world! I got to pick out a bunch of different colored M&M's

The best part was we got to go see the Blue Man Group! It was great! We both loved it. I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the show, but I got one of us with some of the loads and loads of paper that they used in the show and told us to decorate ourselves. haha. I got a distant shot of one of the blue men after the show...

We spent another week in San Deigo and then flew back to Hawaii! We had so much fun this Christmas break. We picked up fatty, who stayed with grandma over the break and is now as fat as ever. We're glad to have him back!

Now we're here in school again, looking forward to the summer!
